Day of the Dead Festival and Parade

Festival y Desfile del Dia de los Muertos

Day of the Dead

El Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican celebration that honors deceased family members through a colorful and fun celebration. The CIELO department along with Creative Alliance staff is happy to bring this annual holiday to Baltimore to remember our loved ones who passed away but stayed in our hearts. So, dress up, get your face painted, and join us at the family procession kick-off with gigantic Catrin and Catrina puppets and Mariachi band at noon from Patterson Park walking and moving towards Creative Alliance! Artesanas welcome guests with house-made hot chocolate and Day of the Dead bread. Continue celebrating the Day of the Dead with dance performances, live music, costume contests, and making a traditional art piece with Artesanas, Kerplunk and more!
