Maryland Humanities tour docent Michele Alexander highlights literary luminaries who lived in the neighborhood, including Edgar Allan Poe, H.L. Mencken, Upton Sinclair, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Gertrude Stein. Take in the glorious architecture as you stroll through the ambrosial parks and cobblestone streets of one of Baltimore’s most beautiful neighborhoods. The tour concludes with a picnic lunch in the square, under the majestic view of Washington and Peabody from Fili Mediterranean cafe.
