Discover the new groundbreaking research that is changing the world of healing as we know it. Participants will enjoy a screening of A New Understanding: The Science of Psilocybin, a documentary film that investigates the psychotherapeutic efficacy of psilocybin-facilitated alternative states of human consciousness, notably in studies with patients with cancer, depression, trauma, and anxiety. Afterwards, join world renowned doctors in the field, Dr.Bill Richards from the Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and Dr. Brian Richards from The Aquilino Cancer Center and the research department of Sheppard-Pratt Hospital, both featured in the film, for a lively discussion and Q&A.  Before the screening, artist Edna Emmet shares delicious recipes that celebrate mushrooms.
