Find the best seat in your house for a screening and discussion of two short documentary films by Maryland filmmaker Khalid Ali (Rediscovering Paul Moscat ). Squeegee gives an intimate glimpse of the lives of seven young "Squeegee Boys” who clean car windows at Baltimore intersections. Away From The Grasslands, examines Hanggai, a Mongolian band that blends rock and traditional folk music, as they record their newest studio album in Beijing. Join Khalid and his media partner/photographer Brad Ziegler after the screening for a discussion and Q&A. Enjoy the ultimate movie night, with a snack pack of concession stand favorites or a free pint of Charmery ice cream.
