An evening for novices who’ve always wanted to learn the art of French cooking! Join Nancy Longo, chef of Pierpoint restaurant and James Beard Humanitarian Award finalist, in creating several courses of classic French dishes. Nancy begins with basic stocks that are the base of your favorite French meals: veal stock swirls into blanc de veau, chicken stock evolves into coq au vin, fish stock transforms into a bouillabaisse. Complementary wines are paired with each course. Taste as you learn and reward yourself for your hard work with a souffle for dessert. Creative Alliance Trustee Kimberly Battista’s kitchen island creates an intimate culinary classroom for recipe tasting and knife-skill lessons.
