The Legends of Gypsy Brass come to Bmore! Hailing from the remote Romanian village of Zece Prajini, FANFARE CIOCARLIA has been dubbed one of the world's greatest live bands thanks to their massive energy and undeniable musical virtuosity. Having learned their craft at the feet of their fathers and grandfathers, Fanfare's members proudly keep authentic Gypsy music alive with all twelve members on stage, including a huge horn section. Expect an absolute MAD frenzied dance floor and ecstatic good time!
Baltimore’s own Balkan gypsy dance inferno Balti Mare opens. Balti Mare leader , Armani Crucescu is honing his craft while staying with Fanfare in Romania for a week this winter. Armani adds East European accordion master Kalin Kirilov to his A-list Balti Mare line up, which also includes sax titan Chris Pumphrey, frenetic violin phenom Nils Schwerzmann and tuba maestro Tom Holtz.
