Drawing over 10,000 fans, the Great Halloween Lantern Parade & Festival has been a beloved Baltimore tradition since 1999. The parade is a community-made, artist commissioned, spectacular evening held outdoors in Patterson Park on the last Saturday before Halloween (Oct 26th, rain date Oct 27th). Working with our neighboring schools and community groups, Creative Alliance helps produce 2,000+ lanterns that people of all ages can carry in the Parade to create an evening of light-filled wonder. We are asking Baltimore-based artists and community groups to create NEW, BIG, BRIGHT, FUN, MOBILE objects!

Do you know what it takes to provide 5,000+ young people with free programing each year? You could answer these questions with a resounding YES if you join the Teen Council! Teen Council serves as a youth advisory board for Creative Alliance; they make program proposals, lead exhibitions, translate, create marketing materials, and assist teaching artists.
