We are a diverse and versatile group of impassioned change makers and artists. Here at the core of the Creative Alliance you will find a dedicated crew with years of experience over a broad range of disciplines including community building, education, music, performance, film and video, and visual arts.

Meet The Staff:

Jeremy Stern

Exhibits and Program Manager

Jeremy Stern was the Assistant Director and Curator at Omaha’s Bemis Center for Contemporary Art (2004 - 2007); the first Director of the bemisUNDERGROUND (2005 – 2007), and founder of the Graduate Arts Students Association at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR, 2009 - 2011). He earned a B.S. in Studio Art from New York University and an Interdisciplinary Masters of Fine Arts from University of Nevada. While at UNR, he received the honor of Outstanding Graduate Student in 2011. He comes to us from C. Grimaldis Gallery in Baltimore where he was the Associate Director.

Laura Stokes

Operations and Rentals Manager

As Operations and Rentals Manager at the Creative Alliance, Laura is responsible for oversight of CA’s house staff as well as facility rental. Want to have a party or show at the Patterson? Call Laura!

Heather Keating

Branding and Communications Manager

Heather Keating has worked in design, advertising, and event planning in Baltimore for more than a decade. She worked as a designer for Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts (BOPA) from 2002-2004. She also worked on a large-scale design project helping BOPA develop a brand, logo, and style guide for Artscape, the largest free arts festival in the country. In her last position, she was an art director and designer for John Yuhanick Associates.

Brittney Huff

Annual Giving Manager

Brittney Huff joined Creative Alliance in 2007 and has previously served as Office Manager, Marketing Assistant and Program Assistant. She now serves as Annual Giving Manager, overseeing individual giving and the membership program.

Vic Yambao

Office Manager

Victor Yambao has been involved in the arts and theater since graduating from Lesley University. He has worked for the Harvard Box Office in Cambridge, MA and the Improv Asylum in Boston. He's a painter and has also worked as an illustrator, prop manager, and graphic designer for various theater groups. He moved to Baltimore and joined Creative Alliance in 2016 as a Box Office Assistant and has since transitioned to Office Manager.

Christopher Brooks

Community Arts Manager

Chris Brooks, Creative Alliance’s new Community Arts Manager, brings rich experience to curating cultural arts programs, including film, music, as well as visionary community outreach work. Chris has produced cultural programs that engage, educate, entertain and empower communities. Chris is a native Baltimorean and holds a B.A. in English from Coppin State University.
