Join local author and psychologist Dr. Diane Pomerantz as she celebrates the launch of her debut memoir. Praised by New York Times best-selling author, Jacquelyn Mitchard, Pomerantz was described as "having a majestic talent for conjuring emotion and compelling the reader with her story.”

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Diane - a breast cancer survivor herself - will offer a free signed book and bookmark to guests who give a donation of at least $30.00 to University of Maryland's Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center's Breast Evaluation and Treatment Program. Donations will be tax-deductible. Donations of $50.00 or more will receive a signed book, bookmark and the most recent CD of San Francisco Jazz Sax Player, Steve Heckman.
