Voiceover acting is an important skill in the entertainment industry in radio, television, film, commercials, videogames, and audio books. This workshop is open to beginners interested in learning the business, or a seasoned professional looking for a brush up. Gain recording experience from Jason Sasportas, head of the voiceover department for Stewart Talent. Then learn from professional voice actress Khristine Hvam, an award winning audiobook narrator, producer, director, and voice-over actress. Finish with an opportunity to read a script sample for Hvam and receive feedback about your test audition!
Jason Sasportas has been a voice-over agent at Stewart Talent for over a decade. He has booked clients on numerous national network campaigns, including Subway, Bud Light, Canada Dry, HomeGoods, Ikea, Xarelto, Fidelity, Novant Health, Nicorette, Chevron, and countless others. While commercials are his focus, Jason covers all areas of voiceover. His clients also narrate audio books, documentaries, promos, animated series, and videogames.
Khristine Hvam is an award winning audiobook narrator, producer, director, and voice over actress. You have heard her in TV/Radio commercials, video games, animated series, and most notably in over 250 audio book titles. Khristine has been honored with several Audio Publishers Association Audie Award nominations and is the proud winner of two. She has also received six AudioFile Magazine’s Earphone Awards for her performances. Khristine is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA.
