In 1937, Amelia Earhart disappeared in the midst of the most dangerous and ambitious flight of her career. Aerialist Mara Neimanis flies into the life and legend of America’s most famous aviatrix atop a spinning, 12-foot steel plane sculpture. In this intimate and innovative aerial theatre piece, Neimanis reaches for the heart of the 70 year old mystery in an athletic performance that is at once deeply introspective and dazzlingly expressive. Artist talk follows.
