In this collection of shorts, media artists from Baltimore and beyond create and demolish narrative, time frame, editing structure, identity, and place (both physically and metaphorically). A collective vitality emerges through live action, animation, video collage, appropriation, and performance. Media artists include Sabrina Small,Yaeri Song, Steve Bradley, Jimmy Joe Roche, Rebekkah Palov and Eric Dyer. Plus, Kelley Bell projects new work outdoors on The Patterson’s walls. Curator Phil Davis is an MFA candidate in the Imaging and Digital Art Program at UMBC. Q&A follows.
