Tony Geraci’s bold push for healthier meals in the Baltimore City School''''''''s cafeterias has made him nationally known in the school food reform movement. Filmmakers Richard Chisolm, Sheila Kinkade and David Grossbach screen excerpts of their soon-to-be-released Cafeteria Man which follows Geraci as director of food and nutrition for the Baltimore City Schools. Geraci, the filmmakers, Principal Matt Hornbeck of Highlandtown’s own Hampstead Hill Academy, and a motivated teen discuss the realities of implementation.
In the Main Gallery before the screening, catch the opening reception for THE FOOD NETWORK with local food by Woodberry Kitchen, Hampstead Hill Academy’ s Food Club, Great Kids Farms, and Baltimore Montessori Public Charter School.
