A screening of two internationally recognized documentaries from the most violent favelas (slums) in Recife, Brazil. In Favela Rhythms youth examine their walled cities of violence, drugs, and dreams. Three years later, some of the very same youth make City of Rhyme, as they set out to record a rap album condemning this violence and injustice.
