For the 10th year we bring back the best of the old and create wildly wondrous new for our world renowned lantern spectacle in Patterson Park.The Magic Lantern Show returns! Nana Projects mines E.A.Poe’s surreal poem Eureka for magical imagery in this live, monumental, projected fairy tale. Enter the Lantern Festival —our first ever pre-Parade party-fest with hay rides, hot cider, last minute lantern making, spooky storytelling, great food and live music.The Parade rises, glows and grows on a new route, powered by over 1200 paper lanterns, spangled stiltwalkers, constellation stars, ribbon rockets, whimsical floats, the Bone Band and lots more community made magic!
