Irish Music: Teada
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Téada, one of Ireland’s most powerful traditional musical groups. The group revels in the timeless, expressive force of traditional tunes passed down through generations of musicians.
Founded by Sligo fiddler Oisín Mac Diarmada, Téada first came together in 2001. The group creates bold interpretations while preserving the contagious energy inherent in their Irish repertoire. Having toured the world many times over, this marks their debut in Baltimore. About dang time!
