Overview Charm City Original Soul

A night of jazz-inspired soul from three up-and-coming Baltimore ensembles offering original instrumental, vocal and even a little a cappella music to inspire and delight. Jazz pianist and composer Mark Meadows has performed with everyone from Tia Fuller to Warren Wolf. Tonight he brings his full band to share original work from his recent CD, as well as Carla Wills from WEAA 88.9 FM as M.C. for the evening. Trina Coleman leads her band Sojourne with her original songs and flowing vocals. Vocalist Nikki Lerner creates original songs, one of which she produced with Grammy award winner Michael League of Snarky Puppy fame. With all groups riding a wave of excitement with their recent recordings, expect a night of soaring music and big energy. 8pm | $14, $12 mbrs.
