Victoria Vox CD Release Party of Key w/Del Rey
Eclectic, upbeat and clever, Victoria Vox, warms the hearts of fans around the world. Sung with seductive finesse and supported by her accomplished ukulele technique, Victoria’s songs are, according to Vintage Guitar Magazine, “catchy and clever, backed by hook-laden melodies.” In 2012 she launched her 52 Original Song Project, an undertaking to write an original song each week for a year. It was funded by her fans. A full band helps her roll out her new CD Key with selections from the 52 week project.
Resonator guitar master Del Rey, who has taken the uke to new heights in acoustic blues and ragtime, opens. Open Studio, Jeffrey Gangwisch. First Fridays at Creative Alliance are proudly sponsored by Towson University and the College of Fine Arts & Communications. 8pm. $15, $10 mbrs.
