Caleb Stine hosts Round The Mountain: Acoustic Roots
Bmore’s neo-folk leader Caleb Stine hosts and gathers a night of vibrant, current performers inspired by the past. 'Folk Music' is ultimately music made by folks in their communities and their place in time. In its sixth year, Round the Mountain offers a gumbo of flavors and textures that are sure to delight. Michael Patrick Flanagan Smith brings his observant personal songs about the Dust Bowls in all of our lives. Red and The Romantics offer a fresh approach of what a 'Country Song' can be. Saleem Heggins, of Saleem and The Music Lovers, weaves his love of jazz and poetry into new directions for Hip Hop. The Leeroys pull from Lee Johnsons' bluegrass family roots and Faulknerian vision. Caleb Stine puts psychological naturalism into a blues form. It's all gonna make for a hell of a night of music you won't want to miss! 8pm. $18, $13 mbrs. & stus.
