In sheer joy of the depth, breadth and activism of Woody’s music we celebrate his 100th B’day with a fab, high energy, much-collaborating-together all-star lineup. Neo-folk star Caleb Stine, honky-tonk visionary Arty Hill, Guthrie aficionado Michael Patrick Flanagan Smith (playwright and lead in Woody Guthrie Dreams), John Shock & Paul Margolis (formerly of the Polkats) with their band the Stone Hill All-Stars, husband/wife Appalachian duo The Honey Dewdrops, sweet-singing sisters The Hello Strangers, and long-time Baltimore musicians Sam Nitzberg and Matt Douglass. 2 Shows, 7 & 9:30pm. $18, $13 mbrs.
Tune In On The Radio: WTMD 89.7's Paul Hartman interviewed Paul Margolis, John Shock, and Tim Pruitt of the Stone Hill All-Stars on Sunday 9/23/12. And for the 9/24/12 broadcast of WYPR's Maryland Morning, Caleb Stine came into the studio to talk about Woody's legacy.
